Prime Video に『デッド・ノート』（2014年）という映画が表示されたので、あの有名な漫画『DEATH NOTE』が海外でも映画化されたのかと思い視聴を開始。 サムネイル画像に死神、そして解説に”ノートに名前を書かれた人間は死ぬ。”って書かれていたのでそう思いこんだ私を誰が責められようかっ！ 結論から言うと漫画『DEATH NOTE』とは何の関係もない作品。 しかし、人気作と似たタイトルで客を釣るタイプの駄作かと言うとそうわけでもなく、独特の雰囲気をもった良質のサスペンスでした。 劇中でのノートというか手帳の扱われ方も『DEATH NOTE』とは全く違います（笑）。 原題は「Let Us Prey」で、Google翻訳にかけると「獲物にしよう」という意味らしいです。 英語は詳しくないけれど「Let Us Pray」（祈りましょう）と掛けているのかな？ ところどころにキリスト教に関係するネタが差しはさまれているので。
